I have tried to sell my ebooks by the concept of landing pages. It will not effectively work. The probable reason is:
If you are posting an ad to a social media like twitter, then for about 1000 views, there will be some 10 link clicks. So, if you take these 10 people to a website and make them to read an article and then make them to hit call to action button like " buy now", then again out of 10, only one or no one will hit the button. But instead of thet if we take them directly to call to action, the chances are more to hit it! Think and tell your opinion.
